The Community Council of Kilani has set numerous goals since the day of its election. These goals concern the creation of a modern, European community that provides its inhabitants with all available modern comforts. Within this frame, a lot of infrastructure and embellishment projects have been completed. Some of them are:
- Creation of aromatic plants park.
- Placement of postal addresses.
- Construction of festivities hall.
- expansion of the community cemetery
- Conservation of churches and the bridge of Kryos river by the Antiquities Department
- Construction of asphalt road connection between Kilani-Mandria and Agia Mauri-Sylikou
- Water supply to many new houses surrounding the village
- Systematisation of the garbage collection services
- Additions and alterations in community buildings and the hall used for multiple purposes.
- Construction of new buildings for the community surgery and pharmacist.
- Construction of the Mountainous Areas Research Centre in the old primary school.
- Fraternization of the Kilani Community Council with the Megali Panagia of Chalkidiki Municipality.
The community Council had scheduled many developmental projects for the community. Some of them are:
- Construction of sewage system.
- Expansion of street lighting in the roads connecting Kilani-Agia Mauri, Agia Mauri-Sylikou, Kilani-Vouni and Kilani-Mandria.
- Stone lining of the fountains in the area, near the entrance of the village, just outside the church of Panagia.
- Restoration and recreation of the village square in the centre of the village
- Reformation of the old village pit into a well with traditional stone
- Repair and reformation of the estate located in the yards of the old primary school into a guesthouse.
- Expansion of the amphitheatre and its embellishment with traditional stone
- Turning many rural roads into asphalt roadways
- Continuing afforestation within and outside of the village
- Enrichment of community library with new books
- Re-operation of the Kilani Police Station or Fire Station.
