| It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the official
web-page of the Kilani community. |

| Kilani, an original wine-making village with a rich heritage,
has managed to preserve its environmental physiognomy and its
traditional architecture. |
| |
| People with an agile wit, diligence, endued with virtues,
and who were able to defeat poverty and difficulties, have lived
and created here since very old times. They have turned the
surrounding mountainsides to excellent vineyards and the valley
of the Kryos river into fruitful gardens. |
| |
| Artisans, merchants, handicraftsmen, scientists, artists,
and clergymen were raised and shaped within this environment.

| We, the modern people of the community, have decided that
the whole effort of our ancestors must be made known to the
young people. For this reason we created our own web-page. |

| I wish that your journey in our page is a constructive one
and I hope that you will visit us so as to be acquainted with
our whole-hearted, country hospitality. |
